The USFWC Policy and Advocacy Council hosts quarterly public webinars on current topics. This quarter, we will be focusing on the basics of public policy advocacy for worker cooperatives.

The U.S. Federation of Worker Cooperatives and its members support and organize successful advocacy campaigns that win financial and legislative support for workplace democracy. This presentation by USFWC staff, board, and member Cooperative Development Institute, will describe advocacy ideas and opportunities for our movement. As our movement grows, we need to define the policies and recognize strategies that can take it to the next level. We’ll hone in on successful efforts at the city and state levels to look at strategies for our collective learning. This session will demonstrate what effective worker co-op advocacy looks like and participants will leave equipped and inspired to organize during this urgent time.

[This session will be offered in English.]
