NYC: Challenging Systems of Oppression in Worker Cooperatives

Registration is closed for this event

Description:

Workplace democracy should be a space for ongoing practice of transformation and constant challenging to dismantle oppression. In order to truly create a thriving movement of democracy in the workplace, we must expand our capacity to understand and address systems of inequality and oppression in the workplace. That means really opening the conversation about how the day-to-day practices in our workplaces impact our ability to exercise our leadership.

This workshop will help you to build practice and confidence in having ongoing discussions on diversity, equity, and inclusion that are vital to a healthy workplace. We will begin to identify tools and approaches to strengthen our own practices and to bring to our organizations for continued growth.
